Today I did haiku poems with my 4th graders. And while they were busy writing theirs, I took the opportunity to write one of my own.
Time spent, lessons learned
Moving toward dreams and goals
My Philippines, home
I hope that the next time I post an entry in this blog, it’ll be when I am already in Manila. I’ve booked my flight for July 16, 2009. And I am so excited to spend (at least) a year with family and friends. I’ve been working overseas for seven happy and fulfilling years. But seven years is seven years. So I guess you could say that I’ve got an itch. But in truth, it’s not an itch, it’s a heart’s longing for home.

There’s no place like home ika nga at may bonus ka pa. Ma-experience mo first hand at mangyayaring history dito sa atin.
