Personally, I believe there is no excuse for their racism and bigotry. It’s just wrong! But after reading the ED articles about the other countries, I realized that ED is not meant to be taken seriously. In fact, if you take the time to read the other articles in the site, including the ones about Wikipedia and Google, it’s easy to see that this site is just plain stupid. But don’t take my word for it, read their articles or check out this forum and read what 30 other people have to say about ED.

Like you, there have been many times and instances in my life when things fall into place and dreams become realities. They can be simple things or they can be big-time goals. They go by different names - luck, providence, divine intervention, fate, destiny, positive thinking, and the like. No matter what you may want to call them, they always give you the feeling that you are blessed. You almost want to shout from the top of the roof and say, “Thank you!”

Sad to say, ito po ang lagay ng ating bayan (This is the state of our nation). As President Arroyo quoted in one of her speeches, public service is a public trust. But when the trust is gone, the people have no choice but to take it to the streets.

Now, before I continue, I would like to say that this is not a critique of the Pope’s message. I am not in a position to challenge the Pope’s knowledge of theology and its applications in our world. These are my personal reflections. I would highly recommend my Christian brothers and sisters, even the non-practicing ones, to do the same - read the letter for yourselves and reflect on it. There are many news articles about it in various newspapers but they’re all influenced by the newswriter’s views as to what’s important and significant. So you have to read it for yourself and write down your personal thoughts on it.

I believe that it is in our power to overcome and banish suffering. I believe that suffering is not part of God’s plan for us. I believe that those who have caused suffering in the past should be answerable and should pay for their actions

Any structure (including laws and customs) that limit free will and choice is a violation of freedom. I hope the bishops in our country are listening so that they may stop limiting our freedom to choose our options in birth control.

Yesterday, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and speak with Education Secretary Jesli A. Lapus. Gigi and Pam of the Philippine Embassy in Vietnam invited me and Michelle to the despedida party of Consul-Gen Baisa and Ms Bel. Sec Lapus was the guest of honor and luckily, Ambassador del Rosario asked me to join them at their table.
We talked about life, family, careers, and of course, CyberEducation! Here are some of the insights I gained from Sec Lapus and from my own research about CyberEd:
